How Braces Work

At each appointment, Dr. DeCamps will adjust the braces – this is the reason that regular appointments are key to successful results! In addition to braces, some patients may need to wear rubber bands. Patients wearing braces may notice that their teeth feel a little looser than normal. This sensation is normal and temporary, and the teeth will “firm up” later in treatment.
